Our Doctors


Dr. Rodney Anderson:

Dr. Anderson is a 1997 graduate from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.  In addition to a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, he also has two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Science and Veterinary Science from Texas A&M University.  He has been practicing in the Fort Bend area for 19 years and established Greatwood Veterinary Hospital in April of 2000.  Dr. Anderson is committed to the veterinary profession and is an active member in the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and Harris County Veterinary Medical Association (HCVMA).


He currently resides in the Greatwood community with his family.  His wife, Carolyn, is a second grade teacher at Bess Campbell Elementary School.  Together they enjoy family time with their 8 year old son, 7 year old daughter, and their dog Bocephus.  In addition to family, Dr. Anderson is also active in outdoor activities, martial arts, and motorcycling.


Dr. Stephen Marsh:

Dr. Marsh is an honors graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from The University of Southern Mississippi. He is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, but has called Texas home for over 10 years. Dr Marsh is an active member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).


Dr. Marsh resides in Missouri City with his family. His wife, Taylor, is a Sugar Land native and practices optometry in the area. Dr. Marsh and Taylor welcomed their daughter, Camille, in 2016 and are loving parenthood! In addition, Dr. Marsh is an avid BBQ enthusiast and enjoys watching football every fall.  He has two cats (Spite and Mocha) and a rescue dog (Bonnie). He loves being part of Greatwood Veterinary Hospital and getting to know the clients and their pets.


Dr. Jane Lyttle:

Dr. Lyttle is a 1995 graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.  She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Georgia.  She has been an associate at Greatwood Veterinary Hospital for 7 years and also offers her services to the Animal Minor Emergency Center at Kingsland.  Dr. Lyttle is an active member in the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).  

She currently resides in Sugar Land with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, 2 fish, and their bird.  Other interests include outdoor activities, boating, and water skiing.
